NPTCL

The Nepal Power Trade Company (NPTC), a subsidiary of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), was established to handle electricity trading within the country and across borders. The NEA holds a 51% majority stake, while the remaining shares are held by Vidhyut Utpadan Company Limited (17%), Nepal Rastriya Prasaran Grid Company Limited (17%), and Hydro Investment Development Company Limited (HIDCL) (15%).
