MISSION

VUCL's mission is to support the government in generating all economically viable electricity from Nepal's available hydro resources, thereby ensuring energy security in the country and realizing the export potentials of energy. We are focused on the development of medium and large-scale storage projects, peaking run-of-river projects, and run-of-river hydropower projects that will provide reliable, clean, and affordable electricity to power Nepal's progress.

Through strategic planning and implementation of hydropower projects across various scales and technologies, we aim to create a diversified energy portfolio that meets both base-load and peak-load demands while maintaining environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
